Almost everyone has experienced an episode of back pain or discomfort in their life.  And sometimes we have been told to "NOT" do particular movements or activities!

This 3 class  IN-PERSON series is for people who are curious and motivated to learn some new ways to move and to breathe. It is for those who have never taken a yoga class as well as for experienced yogis!

April 5, 12, 19, 2022  1:30-3:00 PM

Join Lisa Bollheimer Minn, PT and therapeutic yoga instructor for this series of evidence-informed classes. This series will teach you the safe and effective ways to improve mobility, core strength and postural awareness and to integrate this knowledge into not only a yoga practice but also into your daily life off the mat.

Each class will cover various yoga poses and how to modify them for specific impairments. You will learn about the bandhas and how they correlate to contemporary research in neuromuscular physiology. And you will also practice relaxation and breathing techniques to minimize the effects of stress and tap into the healing power of the nervous system.

This class is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced yoga students interested in a therapeutic approach to practicing yoga on and off the mat.

Cost for the whole Series: $60 in person.

Cost for single session: $25 per class. (if you would like to sign up for a single class, please contact to do so).

Please note that this is an IN-PERSON group class. It is not intended to take the place of PT evalution or treatment. If you have concerns or questions about your ability to participate in a class, please contact to discuss your concerns.
