Topic: The Role of Physiotherapy in the Management of Caesarean Section Rehabilitation
Speaker: Katie Kelly
Session Description: Caesarean birth presents its own distinct set of rehabilitation challenges. A growing body of evidence supports a variety of treatment strategies to effectively manage caesarean specific concerns, such as postoperative ambulation, incisional pain management, and myofascial restriction of C-section scar. Physiotherapists have the education and skills necessary to address these concerns and should be considered pivotal in caesarean rehabilitation.
