Case:
This month’s case is a 41-year-old recreational runner with chronic left knee pain.
This case will be presented online on Tuesday Feb. 1, 2022 at 8 pm EST.

Franklin Simms, BSc(PT), MSc(RS), OMPT, FACMPT
Frank graduated from the Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Biology and from Dalhousie University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. In 2018, Frank completed a Masters in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University specializing in orthopaedic and manipulative physiotherapy (OMPT) and became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (CAMPT).

Anita Connors, BSc(PT), FCAMPT
Anita has been teaching in the Atlantic provinces since 2011 in a variety of roles including clinical instructor with Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy, creating and teaching private courses, and instructing in the Orthopaedic Division AIM courses. Anita is co-creator of a running assessment and treatment course. Anita has been fortunate to have been invited to attend exclusive retreats hosted by Dr. Shirley Sahrmann, in Missouri, on several occasions. This has influenced and enhanced her practice utilizing Movement System Impairment. Anita is a competitive masters CrossFit athlete, runner, and Olympic weightlifter with a special interest in treating athletes of all levels from these disciplines.
Blaise Dubois, PT
Blaise is the founder of The Running Clinic, an organization providing continuing education internationally. In the clinic and in research, Blaise is interested in the prevention and treatment of running injuries, with a particular focus on footwear and biomechanics. He creates different tools for clinicians, like the PEACE & LOVE and the Mechanical Stress Quantification. He is also an avid runner.
Diane Lee, BSR, FCAMPT, CGIMS Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health
Diane is a UBC graduate in the field of rehabilitation medicine. She was an instructor and chief examiner for the Orthopaedic Division for over 20 years. She is the principal instructor of Learn with Diane Lee. She has been a keynote speaker at many conferences, has contributed chapters to several books and published books on the thorax, the pelvic girdle and diastasis of the rectus abdominis.
