Session 2: Telerehabilitation on Embodia
This session will provide an overview of telerehabilitation on Embodia.
Embodia provides simple, secure access to virtual consultations for patients and practitioners. Embodia uses Zoom for Healthcare as its underlying platform, which is HIPAA, PIPEDA, and PHIPA compliant. Consultations can be completed online through the mobile-friendly web portal which allows patients to access their consultations, exercise instructions, and education materials in one convenient location.
Practitioners can complete one-on-one video consultations with no time restrictions or daily maximums. Unlimited group consultation capabilities are also available. Group telerehabilitation allows up to 300 participants with no time restrictions. The group telerehabilitation account can be shared between multiple practitioners in the same organization or clinic.
Embodia offers a streamlined process for booking consultations, obtaining consent and completing virtual visits. With administrative tasks minimized, practitioners can spend more time caring for patients, increasing revenue, and customer satisfaction.
"Embodia is integral to my practice. I use it to create home exercise programs, perform virtual appointments, and take courses through it. Very easy to use and my clients love it! Can’t recommend it enough!"
-Cathy Walker, Physiotherapist, Clinic Owner

"I had such a positive experience using Embodia. The online sessions provide the opportunity to practice physiotherapy from the comfort of your own home. Additionally, Embodia is an accessible app that tracks your progress through diary entries and the physiotherapist's recorded progress notes. The videos are a helpful way to remember each of the exercises learned in session. Also, having the option to select "complete exercise" provides the user with a rewarding sense of accomplishment."
