Introduction:

Do you work with children, teens, or adults who have cerebral palsy?

Are you interested in learning how to maximize neuroplasticity and minimize maladaptive habits in this population?

We have invited Pia Stampe, PT, DPT, to join us for a one hour webinar where she will introduce an evidence-informed, intensive model of therapy developed for exactly this purpose.

This webinar will challenge you to look critically at your own expectations for outcomes with pediatric and adult patients with early acquired neurological disorders by identifying markers for neurological recovery masked by the habitual motor performance. A highly systematic and intensive approach to assessment and treatment will be introduced through short case presentations.

You can register by scrolling down and clicking 'Register'.

Here’s what you’ll discover on this 60-minute workshop:

  • Understand the potential for brain recovery and neuroplasticity.

  • How low expectations for recovery influences outcomes.

  • Understand how to maximize commonly used therapy interventions by using a systematic, intensive approach to create rapid change in function.

  • Discuss practical and simple strategies for integrating this intensive model into existing therapy delivery systems.

However, time is running out to claim a spot, so hop over now while there's still space.

Here's why we invited Pia to join us for this webinar:

Pia earned her bachelor degree in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1981 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2008.

Pia has extensive teaching experience within the field of pediatric and neurological physical therapy and technology use.

Through extensive continuing education, Pia has gained expertise in the assessment and treatment of children and adults with a wide variety of neurological problems.

Over the past few years, Pia and her staff have developed a unique therapy intensive program for children and adults with conditions such as Brachial Plexus Injury, Cerebral Palsy and Brain Injury.

See you there!
