Pulmonary Rehabilitation: Stop the Downward Spiral!
Pulmonary Rehabilitation: Stop the Downward Spiral!
1 hour
Overview
Pulmonary rehabilitation is supported by evidence but is vastly underutilized with the primary barrier being a lack of perceived benefit.
The goal of this webinar is to increase the participant’s knowledge to be able to appropriately identify patients who would benefit from pulmonary rehabilitation across the continuum of care.
For patients with musculoskeletal conditions/surgeries, the continuum of care is often clear. However, for patients with pulmonary disease, following physical therapy in acute care and/or home health, the next step is often unclear. The goal of this webinar is to increase the participant’s awareness of next steps to assist in the management of this lifelong condition.

The instructors
The Cardiorespiratory Division (CRD) unites physiotherapists with a special interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. We provide a valuable forum for our members to share information relevant to working with clients across the lifespan and in all areas of cardiorespiratory.
To facilitate knowledge sharing and encourage networking, we produce our newsletter, the Gas Exchange, three times per year and relay information on job opportunities, online resources, courses and other educational events.
