Introduction:
Hello! This is Bahram Jam, the founder of the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institue (APTEI), and I really look forward to being part of this webinar!
This will be the second webinar that I host with Embodia about my new Pain Truth Certification program. This webinar is free for Embodia Members and anyone who has purchased the Pain Truth Certification Online Course.
This is a follow-on to the first webinar. I will summarize what we discussed in the first webinar, but to make the most out of your experience I highly suggest you watch the recording from the first webinar which you can find here.
During this live webinar, we will dive into management strategies for patients with persistent pain and other evidence-informed management strategies.
Too often as clinicians, we feel bad about our clinical skills when we "fail to help" those who seek our care in desperate need of pain relief. I certainly felt that if only I took more courses on manual therapy, biomechanics, soft tissue release or strengthening then I would be able to help them better.
I Was Wrong!
The reason some of my patients were not responding to my treatments was that I was trying to "fix a structure", when in fact they did NOT NEED ANYTHING FIXED!
This webinar is for all healthcare providers who wish to have the ability to more effectively assist their patients in their recovery. The primary aim of this 60-minute webinar will be to discuss management strategies for patients who are centrally sensitized.
