To add an opt-in ask, you must first connect your Mailchimp account. Learn how to connect your account in our help article, Connecting your Mailchimp account.

To entice your clients to join your mailing list, you need to communicate the benefits of joining. This is where the opt-in ask comes into play.

If you do not provide an opt-in ask, a generic ask of "Would you like to join our mailing list? " will be used. To override the default ask, click on Edit opt-in ask.

This will redirect you to a text editor where you can add your custom opt-in ask.

Click Submit to save your personalized opt-in ask.
